Tolerant Azerbaijani youth art exhibition opened in Austria

An art exhibition titled “Tolerant Azerbaijani youth” opened at Cultural Centre of Azerbaijan in Vienna, Austria.

Supported by the Youth Foundation under the President of Azerbaijan and Baku International Centre for Multiculturalism, the exhibition saw speech by Director of the Centre Leyla Gasimova who highlighted tolerance environment in the country. She said tolerance, multiculturalism, ethnic diversity are the part of the life of Azerbaijani people, saying the exhibition collected successful works by the country`s young artists.

Author and Head of the “Tolerant Azerbaijani Youth” project Dilara Muzaffarli spoke about the progress achieved over the last period since the implementation of the project. She said national leader Heydar Aliyev attached great importance to development of multiculturalism. “The successful works were carried out by Head of State in the relevant field.”

The exhibition featured a demonstration of a documentary video on “Azerbaijan – environment of tolerance”. Azerbaijani students also performed musical compositions.

The aim of “Tolerant Azerbaijani Youth” project is to involve the creative youth to delivering the society the national, ethnic, racial, religious tolerance existed in the country. The competition has been announced within the project. The first places in nominations paintings, graphics, sculpture gained by Zarnishan Yusif, Narmin Abdullayeva, Sanan Jafarov accordingly.
